We now have installed the latest "Hydro Therapy Massage Spas" at each cottage. These are ready and waiting for you 24hrs a day, constantly hot and ready to go. They are private, large & they can seat up to 6 adults, they are just over 2mts x 2 mts.
They have an inbuilt Ozonator which reduces chemical useage by up to 80%, which is much better for you, us and the enviroment.
Each spa has 11 jets with some for massaging your neck in one corner, lower back on another & a reclining lounge seat with a jet for back and feet! There is a light in each spa under the water this still enables you to gaze up at the wonderous southern star filled skies together!

All spas now have spa lifters so you do not need to lift the covers off, just fold lid in half and push away from you on the frame.......They have a preset tempreture of 35oC which can be altered to suit the season.

  1. History of Yelverton Brook

Simon & Joy Ensor brought the 100 ac property in 1988 with the idea to develop quality tourist accommodation in a bushland setting. The property was a virgin bush block with no established water, power or buildings, even 2 boundary fences were missing. Finances were exhausted buying the property after selling there house in Perth. Both Joy & Simon grew up in the Margaret River area and wished to return home.

The first building started in Dec 1990, which is the shed/office & home to this day!

Callam there son was born in July 25th 1991, the first chalet was called Jarrah after the big twisted Jarrah tree out the front on the chalet this completed in Easter 1992.
Sheoak chalet was completed in Nov 1994.
Peppermint chalet was completed Easter 1997.
    Fern completed in May 2000.
Banksia was completed in August 2000.

Joy and Simon have made all the mudbricks by hand & built the chalets from the pre-plumbing through to the curtains certainly a labour of love. Simon is a Shipwright (boat builder) by trade, hence the water-tight fit!

Now they have completed the predator proof fence around the entire 100acs or 2.4kms to offer a feral free safe haven for our native fauna. They wish to re-establish a eden status showcasing the wonderful diverse range of small marsupials the south-west was known for. Eventually to open guided noctural walks for your enjoyment, cafe & interpretive centre. Chapel & small conference centre are now in the planning stages.

Simon & Joy Ensor at the Western Australian Tourism Awards in 1998 where they were awarded a Finalist position in Superior Accommodation. Also awarded same position in 1999. Tourism Awards 1998
