Our commitment to the environment -

To minimize waste generated by this business by using recycled materials were possible and recycling as much of our waste as possible. Also encourage our guests to help achieve these targets.

To minimize water consumption, energy & materials

To reduce our pollution to a minimum and treat all effluents to government requirements and implement upgrading as the occasions arise.

Replace where possible all paper products with suitable recycled products.

No domestic pets are allowed on this property (eg: cats & dogs)

Maintenance of predator proof fence to ensure safety of native fauna.

Commit to re-introduction of missing small native fauna to return bushland to an "Eden Status".

All cleaning products are fibre based technology & tea tree & organic based.

Peace & quite are encouraged for the guests to enjoy the sounds of nature. Machinery based noise is kept to a minimum.

Specialist feed in small quantities is supplied for guest with feeding notes, this discourages guests feeding unsuitable food.

Entering Environmental awards keeps us on track & focused.

Provide guests with copy of environmental policy & directions in chalet compendiums.

Networking with other environmental based operators.

Educate staff on our environmental directions & policies.

Employ local staff and support local environmental groups.

Continue FAWNA carer award at local agricultural show.

Review operations constantly to ensure best practice is maintained at all times.

Review and record environmental impacts in Conservation Sanctuary.

Give preference to locally produced goods and services, Western Australian or Australian owned companies and businesses.

Comply with requirements for Green Globe 21, TCWA & Ecotourism Association of Australia annually or as requested.
